Refund Policy
Balance is not refundable. Here is exactly what that means before you add any.
All sales are final
Balance you add to your account is not refundable. It is not returned to your payment method, not transferred, and not converted to cash. It is spent on rent, claim fees and buyouts within Evict.
Add what you intend to spend. If you are unsure how much that is, start at the minimum — you can top up again at any time, and there is no fee on any action once the balance is there.
Why
Balance is consumed continuously. Rent is charged every second you hold a plot, and placement is delivered the moment you claim one — your listing is on a public board being seen and clicked. There is no undelivered portion to return.
Proceeds from a plot being bought from you are site credit, not money you paid us. Credit was never refundable because it was never a payment.
If we remove your listing
If we remove your listing for a reason that is not a breach of our Acceptable Listings policy, we release your plots and credit your account with the balance attributable to them, so you can use it elsewhere on the board.
If we remove a listing for breach, no credit is issued.
Statutory rights
Nothing here removes rights you have under the consumer law of your country, which may in some cases require a refund regardless of this policy.
Payments are processed by Polar as Merchant of Record. Polar is the seller of record for your transaction and applies its own policies, which may in some circumstances result in a refund we do not control.
Something went wrong
If you were charged in error, charged twice, or the balance did not arrive, contact us and we will fix it. A failure on our side is not covered by this policy — that is a mistake, not a refund.
